BIO

Erik Darmstadt is an award-winning editor, videographer and scriptwriter. He has experience with documentaries, short films, package pieces, video essays and long-form interviews. 

 

In 2023, he won MAC Awards for Best Social Media Engagement, Best Interview and Best Event Coverage. He also won the Fair Media Council's FOLIO Award for his work on Feldsott: Interview with an Artist.

He is currently working at Black Ivy Media editing their podcast FREEda's World and working as a videographer for Universal Paranormal as they document investigations for their reality programming. 

 

He previously interned at SUNY Old Westbury’s Media Innovation Center filming, writing and editing content for their YouTube channel.

 

Darmstadt graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a degree in Media & Communications in May 2023. He is based on Long Island.
